As a fan of the band, XX, I was disappointed with their cd booklet insert. I appreciated the fact that it was minimalistic, like their music, but I felt that it could really use a redesign that was more intriguing. As a small side project I conceptualized a booklet that I felt resonated well with their lyrics and sound. I approached my quagmire with the idea of using pin up girls who are suggestively erotic, as the focus of the book.
